YAY! Thank you for checking my blog out :) this blog is really the main reason i started my website. there’s really no profound reason beyond the fact i have a lot of thoughts and like to record them lol. there’s no central theme to the blog- I anticipate writing about a wide variety of things, from video game analyses to pop culture discussions to perhaps even personal life updates and stories- just anything on my mind important to me.
depending on the blog entry, content warnings or spoiler warnings may be needed. if applicable, they will be listed at the top of the post.
i will be using a tag system to categorize my blog posts. the master taglist is still in the works as i figure out the exact scope of stuff i want to write about (and may remain a continuous WIP) but i’ll do my best to tag everything accordingly so you can filter on specific tags to read about specific topics if you’d like. here’s a list of the tags I’m certain at this point I’ll have:
- for funsies: stuff that isn’t really researched; usually off the dome; strictly opinion pieces; not so structured and more freeform stuff
- for realsies: stuff that is a mixture of opinion and research; essay-form stuff (ie written with proper structure/grammar/etc)
- videogameposting: cuz i love love love games and love to post about them
- craft corner: sharing anything art related, whether it’s WIPs, finished stuff, art discussion in general, etc
- personal: self explanatory
- blogistics: website-related talk, updates, logistics, etc. maybe some webdev stuff in general!
- untagged: anything miscellaneous that doesn’t fall into any existing categories is technically untagged, but there will still be an “untagged” tag if you’d like to look through those
a few last closing thoughts: as you can probably tell by now, i don’t really care about proper punctuation or grammar lol. i like the free and spontaneous feeling it lends the website :3 and it feels sort of inauthentic to me personally to have everything in proper grammar like it matters or something lmao. the exception is ofc the “for realsies” tag.
as for a posting schedule, i don’t think i’ll make one as i cannot guarantee sticking to one and i have conflicting thoughts about self-imposed rules lol. posting will ultimately depend on a lot of things… like how busy i am, whether i’m writing something that takes real effort, whether i have something to write about etc etc. but i have sooo many posts already in the works so there won’t be a shortage of stuff to browse for the foreseeable future :)
i think that’s all i have to say for now. i’m soo excited to start writing! at the time of writing and posting this i’ll definitely still be working on the rest of the site- there’s always something new to add or fix so uhhhh excuse the temporary mess :’)
i just really wanted to get the blog set up first and foremost!! i’ll be making use of the blogistics tag as stuff around the website gets finalized. for now- thank you for reading and i hope you’ll stick around to read more!
